Redditch Winter Ale Festival

• We had well over 500 visitors and around 40% were CAMRA members.
• 32 new CAMRA members were signed up including 29 from Redditch and 9 26's.
• We raised over £460 for the Acorn's Children Trust through the raffles through beer tokens that customers donated.
• We sold over 263 gallons of beer!
• The beer of the festival was Kinver Over the Edge 7.6% with Weatheroak Hill Bitter second
• The cider of the Festival was Barkers Cyder

The festival was a success with a number of beers and ciders selling out. Kinver ‘Over the Edge’ was judged by visitors to the festival to be their beer of the festival. This is the second time that this beer has been victorious at a Redditch Beer Festival.

There were many positive comments from visitors to the festival and plans for next year are already being discussed.

Following the festival there are reports of more real ale being offered for sale in Redditch pubs.
