Harriet is the Shropshire-based founder of The Rushing Dolls Company who have teamed up with award-winning local brewery, Hanby Ales of Wem, to create a beer that is both designed for and marketed to women.

Harry’s Beer is the UK's first ever real ale for women launched by young female entrepreneur, Harriet Easton, a  nineteen year-old politics undergraduate at Newcastle University.

  • Over 6000 pints of real ale sold plus over 950 pints of cider and perry.

  • Beer of the Festival was Thornbridge Jaipur IPA from Derbyshire.

  • Cider/Perry of the Festival was Malvern Magic Cider

  • The West Midlands Golden Ale winner that we judged was Salopian Golden
    Thread - A bright gold 5% ale, using wheat and lager malt and flavoured with First Gold hops.

  •  The number of visitors was just under 1800 (1793)

  • The Primrose Hospice stand and donated tokens made £696.
